Viennese Ice Cream Cones
The wavy line happened by accident. Love it when that comes together. Also love that I finally used my ice cream cone dies!

Vienna
My current fave layout. First time I got that paper tearing/rolling/inking thing to look right! Used a Post-It Index Card for the title block. Another twist on using striped patterned paper for journaling.

Stille Wateren:
I had so much fun creating this title. I stamped a wave stamp at different placements on a strip of white cardstock, then tucked the end into the heart die cut. I then stamped the title in Versamark, and outlined the top half in black and the bottom half in white (I recommend the white Uniball Signo pen, perfection!).

Mahlerstrasse
Poked out the paper in a metal-rimmed tag, then painted it, tied on some fiber and used it to highlight the teeny tiny street sign that was the subject of my layout.

Posing with the Posies
Pushing myself to use some colorful backgrounds, instead of just solid neutrals. :-) Love how the flower/title accent turned out, it was fun to play with!

Paris Metro
For the first Elsie Sketch challenge. All of the paper, except the large polka dots, from the January ZingBOOM kit. Plastic flowers from American Crafts. I journaled about how hideous the Paris subway system was, but I thought the postcard was pretty, so why not scrap it? lol

I love how these pics turned out! I used Da Vinci stamps for the title to echo the architectural theme. I wouldn't mind ripping off the little strips on the upper left and lower left. :-)

Papa Joe's:
Scraplifted from CK.
I used a small music wheeled stamp several random messy times and a bracket stamp to make the arrow pointing to "joe's."

Hotel Eder (Munich):
I made the red flower with strips of cardstock cut with decorative scissors, the gold one by curling thin strips of paper, and the brown one with punched hearts. There's a little Prima under the "M" page pebble in the center of the gold flower.

This was completed for the Same Supplies, Many Looks Challenge on the About.com forum.
The bottom left tag on the right side says "lift" and has hidden journaling underneath. The focal photo is a blown up version of the photo framed with the window tag on the lower left of the left hand side.

Barbie:
I created this layout for Virtual Stamp Night on Splitcoaststampers.com. The challenge was to use as much bling as possible. :-)
I first handcut the title using a Barbie font, coated the letters with Versamark ink, and then embossed with holographic powder. I used the same treatment on the red arrow on the upper left.
I used various rhinestone brads and metal studs for a little sparkle and dimension.
I then stamped "die ersten" and heat embossed with the holographic powder, and finally wrote "die ersten" over that with white pen so it stood out.

Strangers, then friends:
I used a swap kit for this layout... I'd been holding onto it for far too long!
I stamped the title in Old Page distress ink, and then outlined with black pen to get it to stand out a bit more.

Aulos
Cardstock from the January ZingBOOM kit. Stamps are Rhonna Farrer Flourishes, letter stickers by Doodlebug, acrylic paint by Making Memories. Journaling is about how much I hated music history, but yet still remembered what an aulos was when I saw one on the side of the Paris Opera House. :-) I made the music note embellie by cutting the shape out of chipboard, painting it white, and stamping the flourish on top.

Golden Girl
Still pushing myself to use colorful backgrounds. This is way out there for me, and I'm still not sure what I think of it. But I liked the random blocks of stamping.
