E and L
I painted my chipboard letters yellow. Then I adhered them to a yellow cardstock circle. Next, I "drew" a star on them with rubber cement. Then I painted the circle purple and the chipboard letters green. Finally, I rubbed off the rubber cement to reveal the star.

I couldn't resist, I mean look at that grin! :-) Color-blocking with die-cut elements. Ignore the random smattering of glitter at the bottom. :-)

Bunny Ears of Love
Love this photo of my Aunt Vicki, Uncle Charlie, and cousins Lynn and Charlene. Uncle Charlie is a bit notorious for his bunny-ear-giving, and this photo was no exception. But we all know it's out of love. :-)
I made the bunny ears by punching a couple of hearts in black and a couple in white, trimming halves of the hearts into ears, and chalking the white pieces a bit.

Lily's Barbie Convertible Bug
Just a fun LO of my cousin's daughter and her super cool car! Journaling reads: "Lilly-bell, do you know how lucky you are? A lot of girls would kill to have this cool car! I love Aunt Vicki's caption: 'A preschool teacher solving a conflict.' "

It's Been Too Long
Used an Every Jot and Tittle journaling spot in the center of the oversized flowers. So happy I found another layout those title letters would work with! And yes, the mat does not reach all the way--it is a sheet of 8.5 x 11 cardstock, and yes, I'm okay with that gap! :-)

The Christmas Card That Wasn't
Using up old ZingBOOM kits. This paper, again, I didn't really care for at first, but it worked so perfectly with the colors in the photo that I couldn't stay mad for long. ;-)

Grow Arnold, Grow
Created this for a Stash challenge on SBTO. Used a trick I am really loving lately, taking a bunch of journaling boxes and sticking them down, then writing across them as if they were one unified piece.

Easter Dressing
I used my Sizzix to cut a variety of circles from different vellum papers, then layered these to create an interesting background with some visual depth, but still not overwhelming to the photos. Journaled on striped patterned paper.
